Beano is a dynamic performer with an unforgettable live set, ready to rattle the industry.
From sharing stages with the likes of Ty Dolla $ign to Musiq Soulchild and more, it's time for Beano to stand all on his own.
The Philly native recently released his debut project "Just Beano" that charted at #4 on the R&B iTunes charts. The lead single "Darling Baby" ft. Annie Miller was premiered by Ebro on Beats 1 Radio on Apple Music. With this latest offering, you can expect powerful vocals, insightful lyrics, and just Beano.
Barton Joseph French was raised by his mother and father who are both talented musicians in their own right. It was no surprise growing up in such a musical and God-fearing household that Beano decided to join his church choir at Holy Cross Baptist Church. It was there that he blew the congregation away Sunday after Sunday. Gaining a great deal of confidence through performing at the church, Beano started to find himself more and more through music.
Beano quickly began to make a name for himself in the city starting with performing at open mics. Gaining a solid fan base led to bigger performances including opening for The Dream, Musiq Soulchild, Ryan Leslie, Ty Dolla $ign and Mack Wilds at SOBs in NYC for Hot 97 "Who's Next" showcase. In 2015, Beano released his first single "Let it Go," produced by Dilemma, which garnered airplay on Philadelphia's 107.9 & Power 99.
On January 15, 2018, Beano dropped his debut EP, Just Beano. The 8-song project quickly shot to #4 on the iTunes R&B charts. In the few short weeks since the project's release, Beano had his first televised performance on Philly's midday show 'The Q' on FOX, secured coverage on sites such as Rap Radar and REVOLT, had 'Monday Morning' added to Apple Music's Hot Tracks playlist, and announced his first headlining show.
